    South of Myrtle Beach, the coastline bends slightly and sandbars around inlets and piers can concentrate swell. Garden City Pier, Surfside and Pawleys each have their own character and crowd, so checking multiple webcams helps you find the best tide and wind setup for your session.

    Many days are perfect for longboarding, but during strong south or southeast swells and tropical systems, the South Strand can serve up powerful, racey walls and occasional barrels.
